Qualities Needed to Become a Friend of Allah (SWT)

The question I have for myself and you... Wouldn't you like to befriend of Allah (SWT)?
Imagine if Allah (SWT) says that this person is my friend. Well, the answer is 'Yes Indeed!!!' We all want to befriend of Allah (SWT). So here is the recipe mentioned in the Holy Quran . . . Allah says, "They are the ones who believe and they have Taqwa (piety)" (Surah Yunas, Al-Quran). That's all you need, two qualities. To become a friend of Allah, first, you need to be a believer and second, you need to have Taqwa. To be a believer you need to have two main qualities
- You'll have to worship Allah alone without associating partners with Him.
- And you need to follow the Quran, Hadith, and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (PBUH).
On top, you need to have Taqwa (be conscious of Allah Almighty), Create a barrier between yourself and fire of Hell by engaging in commands and abstaining from prohibitions. If you are a pious believer, you are a friend of Allah, so Allah Almighty says, "There is good news for such people and glad tidings in this world as well as the next." May Allah (SWT) befriend us and may He make us amongst those who are truly His friends.
